Jupiter's Great Adventure

24-hours ago, we noticed that Jupiter was missing from his cage. For those of you that don't know, Jupiter is our pet snake. The boys named him Jupiter because he is the same colors of the planet... and he is beautiful. 😍

Anyway, yes... Jupiter escaped from his cage because it was left unlatched on accident after a feeding... and we couldn't find him.

The boys searched all of their bedrooms, closets, under their beds, under clothes, in the corners, etc... No Jupiter.

We were certain that he was dead. 😢

We thought Lotti got him. 😢

We thought he was gone. 😢

Until after work today. Phil and I were starting to fold towels.

Well, this was my towel pile:

I'm not one to jump and scream... But I definitely jumped, grabbed onto Lotti, and scared the crap out of Phil by exclaiming, "Oh my God! There's Jupiter! Jupiter is there! I can't tell if he's alive or dead!" And all I could do while holding Lotti was take a quick picture.

Phil grabbed a box, put Jupiter into it, and took him back to his cage.

So... Jupiter went for a wild ride! Apparently, he was in the pile of towels in a stepsons room that went DOWN the laundry chute, then he went through the (hot water) wash, and then he went through the drier. 😳😳  I'll let you think about that for a while.

Here he is about an hour after we put him in the cage...

"Hey guys... I'm ready to go again!" 😂
