WHAT?? What on earth is a "Centaur"?
Long story short, Phil and I got married on Saturday in a private ceremony with the boys.
After the ceremony, one of the boys exclaimed, "You're now a Sinitar!" .... What? Yes, I'm pretty sure that's what I heard and I definitely made a very confused face.
"A 'sinitar' Cody*? What on earth is a sinitar?"
"You are now Half Horse, Half Man!" He exclaimed again.
Oh ok, he's referring to our last name.
So after telling my parents about this... we all Googled it. It's actually spelled "Centaur" and it is half horse, half man. :-) lol...
But, in reality (instead of just looking at the last name), if you Google the meaning of our last name, it is a German name that means "the family originally lived near or in a hurst, which is a wood or thicket. It was given to a person who resided near a physical feature such as a hill, stream, church, or type of tree." And if you know me, I practically live outside in the woods, hills, streams, and trees. I think it suits me perfectly.
Now, with all of that said... Yes, I am officially a stepmom of FIVE, crazy, rambunctious, awesome, fun boys!
